What is Bermuda Sod?
Bermuda grass, often referred to as "South's grass," thrives in sunny conditions and is a favored option for lawns, golf courses, sports fields, sports arenas, reclamation sites, parks, coastal zones, and pastures.
Characterized by its dark green hue, Bermuda grass is a perennial sod that is both drought-resistant and low-growing, with a rapid recovery rate. It enters dormancy when temperatures fall below 60 degrees, but it begins to green up again as the weather warms.
It's important to note that Bermuda turf requires regular care, maintenance, and mowing. Typically, you'll need to mow it twice a week to maintain its desirable turf-like appearance.
At Snowhill Turf Farm, we grow our own sod and we have the best blends of centipede and Bermuda sod around. Our sod is fresh cut daily and transported directly from our farm to the buyer’s property. We have more than 700 acres of turf grass available for harvest here in Cumberland County, NC.
We have been providing superior service and high-quality products since 2004. Owner Frank Snow is a lifetime resident of Fayetteville, and truly enjoys serving his local community.
